The roadster was built from a 1951 Packard 200 using many of the original body parts "rearranged"  The chassis and all mechanical items are all Packard items mostly from the '51-'54 era.  1951 288 engine 1954 Ultramatic transmission, 1953 rear axle, shortened 1951 frame, all Packard brakes. 1948 Packard instruments etc etc..  It has a swing-away steering wheel for ease of boarding.  Rear quarter panels are from the original sedan, side panels are the old roof, cowl is a portion of the hood, and the radiator assembly is all hand fabricated.  Engine, trans, and all mechanical components were completely rebuilt.  This was all done about 7 years ago and the car sees regular use and is perfectly tractable--not fussy at all.
