Allen Hall's Cobra
Allen Hall's "Family" Cobra
My car was built in 1993. It's a B&B replica. It was originally purchased by a Doctor in Virginia and then sold in 1996 to the person I bought it from in 2006.
After searching for two years we found this car in Norfolk, Virginia. The car's engine was basically stock and the body was in average condition. But this car was a perfect match as my objective was a project to do with my teenage boys.
We decided to overhaul the engine and we dynoed it before the overhaul and found it had 250 hp at the rear wheels. My boys and I pulled the engine and overhauled it. We completed the overhaul in the spring of 2007. The overhaul included a new cam, heads, intake manifold, carburetor and various other upgrades. Upon completion the engine was dynoed again and this time had 310 hp at the rear wheels. We then jet hot coated the headers and side pipes. We added shoulder belts, LED lights under the air filter which look cool at night. The shifter has a cool looking cobra head.
