I have made several improvements to my 1975 Lomax Roadster this winter. The seats were reupholstered by Rankin Upholstery in Gaithersburg. I put a Ford Model A rear bumper on the car from a 1931 Slant Windshield 4 door. Amazingly the curve of the Ford bumper fits the boat-tail of the Lomax almost perfectly. I purchased the bumper from Bratton’s Antique Auto Parts in Mt. Airy – the folks there were very helpful in finding a bumper that fit the curve of the Lomax. The stone guards on the headlamps are for an Austin Healey and they were purchased from Moss Motors. I have also put color coordinated high performance spark plug wires on the vehicle to go along with my Harley Davidson high performance coil and new electronic ignition.
